Description

GitLab Community Edition is an open-source, self-hosted DevOps platform, and an alternative to GitHub and Bitbucket that folds source hosting, code review, CI/CD, and issue tracking into a single application. One install gives teams Git repositories, merge requests, pipelines, a container registry, and project management without wiring together separate services. The MIT-licensed CE is free to run at any scale.

Requirements

• Linux host with at least 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended) and 2 vCPUs
• Docker, or the Omnibus package for a supported distribution
• PostgreSQL and Redis (bundled in Omnibus and the Docker image)
