OpenPost
FeaturedOpenPost helps solo founders prepare, adapt, review, schedule and track social posts. Hosted and self-hosted options.
Overview

What OpenPost does
OpenPost helps solo founders turn launches, product updates, lessons and ideas into social content. Prepare a post, adapt its text and media for each connected account, review the variants, and schedule or publish from one workspace.
Features
- Posts, account-specific variants, schedules and inspectable delivery results.
- An image editor, video editor and media library.
- Visual workflows, an HTTP API, CLI and authenticated MCP tools.
- Hosted and self-hosted deployment options.
Run it yourself
Follow the self-hosting guide for Docker Compose, persistent storage, secrets, HTTPS and social-account setup. Public releases also provide the standalone binary. The Go server embeds the SvelteKit interface, with SQLite as the self-hosted default.
Availability and limits
Hosted currently has a waitlist. The self-hosted releases and free browser editors are available now. Local image and video editing/export require no account and add no watermark. The Video Editor is in beta and requires desktop Chrome or Edge.
Social formats, inbox, analytics and publishing readiness depend on each provider's capabilities, permissions and configuration.
Source and license
The source repository is licensed AGPL-3.0-only. I maintain OpenPost, which is built and operated by Rodrigo Dias.
