Task manager with time tracking, timeboxing, and focus mode
Overview
Description
Super Productivity is an open-source task manager that combines a to-do list with built-in time tracking, timeboxing, and a distraction-free focus mode. It connects directly to Jira, GitLab, GitHub, and OpenProject, so tracked time and task status sync with the tools teams already use.
Features
- Timeboxing: Plans the day around focused work blocks instead of an endless backlog.
- Automatic Time Tracking: Tracks time per task automatically as you work through your list.
- Issue Tracker Sync: Pulls and pushes task status to Jira, GitLab, GitHub, and OpenProject.
- Focus Mode: Hides everything but the current task to minimize context switching.
- Pomodoro Timer: Runs built-in Pomodoro-style work/break cycles.
- Offline-First Desktop App: Works fully offline with local data storage and optional sync.
Technology Stack
Built with Angular and TypeScript, packaged as a cross-platform desktop app with Electron (also available as a web and browser-extension app). Stores data locally with optional WebDAV or Dropbox sync.
Requirements
Windows, macOS, or Linux desktop, or any modern browser for the web version; minimal RAM (under 500 MB typical); no server required for local-only use.
