Olares

Olares

Description

Olares is an open-source personal cloud operating system designed to help individuals reclaim ownership of their data. Instead of depending on public cloud providers, users can deploy powerful open-source applications locally — including LLMs via Ollama, image generation via ComfyUI, and private AI search via Perplexica. It mirrors the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS model of public clouds but runs entirely on your own hardware.

Features

  • Enterprise-Grade Security: Simplified network configuration using Tailscale, Headscale, Cloudflare Tunnel, and FRP.
  • Sandboxed App Ecosystem: Application isolation ensures security across a permissionless marketplace.
  • Unified File System & Database: Automated scaling, backups, and high availability built in.
  • Single Sign-On: One login grants access to all applications via a shared authentication service.
  • Local AI Capabilities: GPU management, local model hosting, and private knowledge bases with full data privacy.
  • Built-In Applications: File manager, sync drive, vault, reader, app market, settings, and dashboard included out of the box.
  • Anywhere Access: Dedicated clients for mobile, desktop, and browser for remote access.
  • Developer Tools: Comprehensive tooling for building and porting applications onto the platform.
