Low-code platform for building internal tools and business apps

Overview

Description

ToolJet is an open-source, low-code platform for rapidly building internal tools, admin panels, and business applications. A drag-and-drop visual builder connects directly to databases, APIs, and SaaS tools, letting teams ship internal software in hours instead of sprints.

Features

  • Drag-and-Drop Builder: Assembles UIs from 50+ pre-built components without writing frontend code.
  • Broad Data Connectivity: Connects to Postgres, MongoDB, REST/GraphQL APIs, and dozens of SaaS tools.
  • JavaScript Transformations: Lets you script custom logic and data transforms inline.
  • Multiplayer Editing: Supports multiple builders editing the same app simultaneously.
  • Role-Based Access Control: Manages granular permissions per app, group, and data source.
  • Self-Hosted or Cloud: Deploys on your own infrastructure or ToolJet's managed cloud.

Technology Stack

Frontend built with React; backend built with Node.js (NestJS). Ships Docker images and a Kubernetes Helm chart for self-hosted deployment, plus a large library of pre-built data source connectors.

Requirements

Linux server with Docker or Kubernetes; PostgreSQL for internal app storage; Redis recommended for multiplayer features; at least 2 GB RAM for a small deployment.
